I’m Jen, and before I became a Mortgage Loan Advisor, I spent years as a school counselor—helping students and families navigate some of the most meaningful transitions and challenges in life. That experience taught me the value of personalized support, clear communication, and showing up for people in ways that truly matter.

When I transitioned into the mortgage industry, I brought those same values with me. I also created a path that allowed me to be fully present in both my career and at home. Becoming a business owner gave me the flexibility and balance to build a life where my children could thrive and where I could show up as both a mom and a mentor.

That’s why I named my business Mariel Mortgage Solutions, a blend of my children’s names and a daily reminder of what matters most. This work isn’t just about loans. It’s about families, futures, and creating a process that feels less overwhelming and more empowering.
